Thank You Wonderful Teachers
We had the best day celebrating Teachers Day on October 27, which was also Walk for Daniel Day.
The P&C treated the secondary teachers to a lovely breakfast, and the primary teachers to nibbles after school. We appreciate all that you do for our children and community, and hope that you know how amazing you are
Our Community Story
We have been working with Triballink, amazing artist Jess Pocket Foulds, College staff, and students to create a story and a traditional artwork that represents our Chancellor Community.
This is one of the pieces that have been created and you will see more to follow. This artwork represents the journey of our students throughout their schooling, exploring the choices made along the way guided by elders, ancestors, community, history and culture. The bunya trees have significant importance in Gubbi Gubbi/ Kabi Kabi culture and represent family and growth.
We are so excited to be able to share this artwork in Reconciliation Week as we continue to work towards building a community strong is history and culture that brings us all together.
Hoe Down Community Trivia Night
We had laughs, a little sing-a-long, a bit of line-dancing, some winners, and even learned some trivia. Thanks to our hosts, our organising committee, and all those that came along.

Volunteers make the world go round, and your P&C
Volunteers are the vast army of people contributing innumerable hours of unpaid work in their communities. Many of our services depend on volunteer assistance from time to time.
Get in touch, we’d love to connect and have you in our team.

Let's Parent Together!
Chancellor P&C works in partnership with local family support services such as Act for Kids, to create a community of support. We seek to support families and ‘parent together’.
We are your go-to parenting community – we don’t expect kids to be perfect and we don’t expect parents to be perfect either. Let’s navigate the ins and outs of parenting together.
We know all too well that raising kids can be stressful and frustrating at times. We embrace our school community, and it’s important to us that our parents feel supported and know there’s always someone to talk to if you need some help.
Stay in touch with parent support activities and information on our FB page, and join us at our family and parent gatherings, events, courses and programs.

School Chaplaincy
Chappy Shane
School chaplains support young people in school, one of today’s most high pressure environments. SU QLD chaplains provide a safe, positive influence for our children.
SU QLD chaplains, or ‘chappies’, provide spiritual and emotional support to school communities. They are in the prevention and support business: helping students find a better way to deal with issues ranging from family breakdown and loneliness, to drug abuse, depression and anxiety.
They provide a listening ear and a caring presence for children and young people in crisis, and those who just need a friend. They also provide support for staff and parents in school communities.

Parenting Courses - Community of Support
Parenting Courses
We have established the series of ‘Community of Support’ educational opportunities which have built confidence in parents to ensure all support groups are working together for the benefit of our families. There’s more to come so watch this space in 2023.
